Kevin Holmes
Kevin Holmes completed his doctoral training at the University of Western Ontario in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology where he studied the influence of NMDA receptor subunit C-terminal domains on receptor trafficking. This was done under the supervision of Dr. Gregory Dekaban of the Biotherapeutics research group at the Robarts Research Institute, in London Ontario Canada.
He has recently commenced post-doctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. Stephen Ferguson in the Cell Biology research group at the Robarts Research Institute where he is studying the mechanisms of corticotropin-releasing factor receptor internalization and desensitization. In doing so Kevin hopes to gain insight into potential mechanisms of receptor dysregulation involved in stress and anxiety disorders.
