Anke Liepelt
Anke Liepelt studied Biochemistry at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. At the Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology in the laboratory of Professor Dr Elmar Wahle she analysed the interaction of proteins that polyadenylate mammalian mRNAs and received her diploma degree in 2006.
Since 2009, she has been working on her PhD project supervised by Dr Antje Ostareck-Lederer and Dr Dirk Ostareck at the Experimental Research Unit, Department of Intensive Care and Intermediate Care, University Hospital Aachen, RWTH Aachen University. Her research focuses on innate immunity and the characterization of underlying post-transcriptional control mechanisms.
