Susan Campbell
In 1997 Susan Campbell received a BA(hons) Moderatorship in Microbiology from Trinity College Dublin. Susan continued her postgraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin and was awarded a PhD investigating the 3` end processing of histone mRNAs in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In 2002, Susan joined Dr Mark Ashe's lab in Manchester and began post doctoral research into understanding the regulation of translation initiation under various stress conditions. Susan's current research involves identifying how the localization of translation initiation factors may impact upon the regulation of translation initiation.
