Biochemical Journal opens an Editorial Office in China

The Biochemical Journal's new Chinese Editorial Office was officially opened on 4th May 2011 at the prestigious and internationally renowned Institute of Biophysics Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Beijing.

This new office provides authors in China an opportunity to submit their papers directly in order to receive a faster, more supportive service.

We are very excited about the launch of our new Editorial Office here in Beijing', said Professor Tao Xu, Vice Chair - Asia Pacific, 'and we look forward to working closely with Chinese researchers to publish their high quality articles in the Biochemical Journal.

Looking to the future, Peter Shepherd, the Chair of the Editorial Board said, 'The Biochemical Journal recognizes the excellence of scientific research in China - our aim is to provide more support for our Chinese authors and with the official opening of the Editorial Office, we can now concentrate on building guanxi with these esteemed researchers.'
